To the girl who just quit her job

First of all - yes, you did the right thing & secondly, your soul is saying…"FINALLY!’

It’s going to be okay, more than okay, it’s going to be AMAZING!

You made the right choice; that job was soul-sucking and didn’t deserve your brilliant courageous mind. Thank you, NEXT!I know it probably felt liberating, and you were running off the adrenaline for the first few weeks. So much free time to do whatever your little heart desired, but now you look at your bank account, and day by day the transactions of yoga classes, brunches and book purchases are adding up. It’s probably feeling less and less free, but you are SO free, you have freedom over your time, which makes you rich AF.

Maybe you think your parents were right to stay in school, get a good job and look forward to those 3 weeks vacation every year. But you are much wiser than your parents in many ways, and you know you can make this work, we know you can make this work.

So keep going to yoga in the middle of the day, make yourself delicious meals with foods from 3 different farmers markets, buy the special peanut butter and feel what it’s like to live lavishly in alignment. It’s time to relax and begin to make space to receive, and then start taking deliberate, inspired, tiny actionable steps towards just one thing that brings you joy and peace.

Don’t be scared, this is all part of the process; only from absolutely nothing can you grow a new plant. Have you ever tried to grow tomatoes in a bed of weeds? They take over, their roots are too strong. Sometimes you need to take ALL the dirt out and start fresh. So that’s what we are doing, taking out the old first and putting in some fresh, nutrient-rich, experience-rich soil.

So take this time to play.Take some classes, go to that pole dance class, go to that yoga teacher training, go drink ayahuasca in Peru, go dancing in Ibiza, trek Patagonia.

As Ram Das Says: “As soon as you give it all up, you can have it all”.
